Mercure Canberra Belconnen

Very comfortable rooms, clean, lovely location. Easy to get to and once you've been on the road all day it's so convenient that the labour club is just down stairs for breakfast, dinner. I'm always happy to stay there.

Large well appointed room with a comfortable bed, lovely clean and modern bathroom with nice toiletries, good security, an excellent gym (though I admit we didn't use it on this visit) and secure parking in the heart of Belconnen. Nice food next door at the Labor Club, accessible through the foyer. Fast elevators and extremely helpful staff.

We recently stayed at this hotel in Canberra for one night and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is new and impeccably clean, making our stay very comfortable. It was absolutely worth the price, offering excellent value for money. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others looking for quality accommodation in Canberra.

The beautiful view over the lake that we asked for and got was beautiful. This resulted in a high "Very Good" rating. If our motel room had been spotless, it would have received a perfect score. I didn't like looking in the mirror and seeing clipped fingernails.

Th room was a great size and clean and very comfortable. We got a free upgrade which was a lovely surprise. The staff were very helpful, and the hotel was in a good location for our needs. The staff, particularly the Manager Cheyne was very helpful when I reported by bicycle stolen from my car in the carpark. Would recommend and would stay again, just be aware the carpark is not secure.
